KFC Indonesia set 9.5% bond's coupon
JAKARTA: PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk, holder of Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant franchise brand in Indonesia, set their 5 years I/2011 bond coupon on 9.5% level per annum.
The decision is shows in Indonesia Central Securities Depository (PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia/KSEI) website today. The IDR200 billion bond issuance is helped by PT OSK Nusadana Securities Indonesia as underwriters.
The fund gathered from very first time bond issuance, which will mature in October 6th 2016, would be use by the company to expand on its restaurants' numbers, to build an extend warehouses, and to renovate its existing branches.
The company, listed in the stock exchange as FAST coded, was controlled by Gelael family.
KFC is a brand name for fried chicken restaurants in USA. The company is based in Louisville, Kentucky, and founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952, though his idea of the fried chicken already began in 1930.
Sanders created fried chicken Original Recipe in 1940 with pressure fryer rather than deep frying method to reduce cooking time. They claim have 5,200 outlet in US and 15,000 in other countries.
