The story begins at the subway station, Charlie (Bradford) met drunk Jordan (Cuthbert) that call him as her 'darling' just right before she passed out, and then the silly-relationship started.

Jordan, which played as a demanding person, always command Charlie as her accomplice and partner to do annoying thing related to her sad times after breaking with her fiance, and somehow Charlie couldn't reject it.

But after all, its just a remake from South Korean version that claimed as all-time-biggest Korean comedy from its gross revenue, adapted from a true story posted in blog written by Ho-sik Kim called 'Yeopgijeogin geunyeo', later adapted into a novel.

How far can we managed our will? The movie can makes us feel the drama that summoned inside somebody's head, with a beautiful, but not details, about football managing.

Based on a true story about the trash-mouth Brian Howard Clough (March 21th '35-Sept 20th '04), the greatest English club manager that England national team have not ever had. Even his garbage mouth was recognize and was ordered to shut by the Sting-like-a-bee Mohammad Ali.

He, with his sidekick Peter Taylor, succeeded waft Derby County into First Division, from a nothing club into everything for the Rams. But the most memorable moment about him is when he hoist Nottingham Forest into European Champions Cup winner, an achievement that never been attained by any English manager until this day.

The story started when he was hired to be the Leeds United manager in 1974, a club that stand in the top of the major league, and also former rival for his career whenn he took care of Derby. Leeds was abandoned by Don Revi at the time, the antagonist role, whose appointed as the English national team manager.

But the actual time setting is focused when he brings Derby County with dignity to topped the club in the Second Division League. The story itself jumped into two different times, forward and backward, swings depends on his emotional reflection.

The story leads into a remorse of Cough that let his mate, Peter, to manage Brighton & Hove Albion himself for money and to develop a new career. The rejection of Peter invitation is because Cough have other offering that he can't refuse, to take the manager chair of Leeds United.

Too bad, there is something bothering about the script, which can't dig deep into the success story of Mr. Cough himself because there is nothing special that showed to the audience about the amazing style of managing a football club into a winning team.

The role itself was well played by the actors, especially from a determined [but never shows the weaker side of emotion] play by Michael Sheen as Mr. Cough (Tony Blair in The Queen and Lucian from Underworld series), Timothy Spall as Peter Taylor (Wormtail in the Harry Potter saga), and Colm Meaney as Revie (Chief Miles O'Brien from Star Trek).

How does it feel when you have a morning shower, out of no where a man that only wears an underwear and a monkey hat comes to your bathroom and urinate in your toilet? And how can you explain to the girl in the shower that the freak person is you retarded brother?

The movie reveals when you have to let the world know that you have a retarded brother. Or is it weird when you want to talk about him to a girl you like? It doesn't fair, isn't it? "You hope you can close your eyes for a moment and when you open it again, you can have your brother turns to normal."

The Aussie-festival-movie shows every emotions that comes when the moment stand in front of your face, and you can't avoid or even run from the moment. There is Thomas (Rhys Wakefield), an Aussie teenage who try to get normal in front of the world and Jackie (Gemma Ward) about his embarrass brother, Charlie (Luke Ford). His 'normal-daily' life, with his old-pregnant mum (Toni Collette) and his army dad (Erik Thomson), doesn't seems normal enough for him and for his school mate.

Overall, the movie can offer alternate options for viewer's emotion to choose in every choice-ing moment in almost every scene of The Black Balloon. What if I had a brother like that? What if one of my children will be like that?

For me, personally, it gives me some revelation when the moment comes to me in the past years. But the movie itself can show and burst of the thousands emotions that felt at those teenage-emotions moment.

But most of all, of course the happiest moment, it almost seen as my moments when I try to get of my girl to know about my little-retarded-brother, it always make me "fiuhh" after I talk about him.

Touchy quotes: "Don't you know I hate you? Hey, I can feel you piss in my legs! Bad Charlie, he he he."

Touchy scene: After Charlie do masturbation in front of Jackie in his birthday party, Thomas can't stand any more, and hold up Charlie's super nintendo.. dad: "Don't you dare!".. and the super nintendo slammed the floor into pieces.

Imagine when there is no children in the world, when women can't ovulate, and when there is desperation of mother wannabe to have a child in their womb.

There is nothing to believed, by the poeople, will makes the peace happen again in the world, through the devastation that thought will never end.

The movie itself makes the audience feel the importance of having a child, to be fertile, despite of the abortion and self destructing behavior to the planet.

The setting held in England, 2027, when the last child died in 18 years old, that makes nobody younger than 18. Epidemic spread in 2007 and kills all children, makes no school held. Desperation and chaotic economy happen in the entire globe.

Other nations, especially Eastern Europe and African, brings wave of immigrants to England, to deserve a better life. But the English government resist it, caused by the murder of the last child that have been turned into a celebrity, Baby Diego.

The bombings and mugging happen eventually, and people starts to rioting and makes the government more repressive. A usual London citizen, Theo Faron (Clive Owen), escaped from a bombing, and captured by the peace activists, named The Fishes.

He asked by Julianne (Julianne Moore), his former wife that turned to be The Fishes leader, to help the group secure a transit paper because he is connected with his family, a government officer. Suddenly, their convoy attacked and Julianne been killed.

The problem peaked when there is a woman, Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey), carries a children in her womb. Julianne said The Fishes will transfered her to a project, Human Project, near Portugal. The group of scientist are trying to restoring human fertility. The transfer will take a vessel, called the Tomorrow.

But the Fishes had another agenda related with the unborn child that Kee had, especially the new leader, Luke (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Theo asked help from his old mate, the former activist and hippies Jesper (Michael Caine), who lived in the forest and lived by selling self-grow weed, to carry them to escaped from England.
