Mega Capital Indonesia eyes 10,000 investors

JAKARTA: PT Mega Capital Indonesia seeks as much as 5,000--7,000 new investors from previously only 3,000 to 8,000--10,000 this year, with help from their new online trading facility.

Mega Capital Indonesia Director Kaleb L. Limuel also said the company also target their daily transaction can increase IDR50 billion--70 bio from previously IDR80--billion to be IDR150 bio.

"We also intend to build another 3--5 new branches from 30 branch that we already have," said him to the press last weekend.

She said the company already ready for the segregation, include prepare new directors, working units, and 10 function that recquired by the Bapepam-LK.

The sister company that will hold the investment management permit from Bapepam-LK is PT Mega Capital Investama.

Bioth companies are owned by CT Corporation (previously Para Group), commandeered by Chairul Tanjung, together with PT Bank Mega Tbk, PT Mega Finance, Trans TV, Trans 7, and PT Carrefour Indonesia.
